    Hey Guys,

Does anyone know where i could source a salvaged fuel pump for a injected 2009 ybr custom.
Ive scoured the internet/ebay for breakers but with no joy.
I hoping maybe someone on the forums that may have a good contact and hopefully can help otherwise im looking at £200 plus for a new one for a bike im trying to sell :(

    Cheers

Try googling the part number.... The same part is probably used on other bikes, not necessarily yams.
Id be surprised if yamaha make the fuel pump themselves.

Are you sure its not just the electrical connections to the pump?

The bike doesn't start in hot weather - its a common fault with ybr's - replacing fuel pump appears to be the only clear way of fixing the issue - ill have a look for the part no. and see if I can trace one that way - cheers for the tip

I fixes my fazer fuel pump by taking it apart removing all the shite and putting back together. Worked a treat.

Don't know if it's the same issue but orange rust like liquid built up in a lot of yamahas from that period

My YBR has started first time, every time. 3 years of daily use and it's never let me down. Even when I fired her up again the other day (She's sorned atm) she still worked fine. Just had to clear a slight blockage in the fuel like, but once that was clear she was running perfectly fine. I've never had her not start on hot days?
