Wanted Xv535 Relay

In need of a flasher relay for a 1998 Virago.

Only ones i can find are in the U.S and cost more than the relay in postage.

 

Picked it up a couple of weeks ago, non runner, riddled with issues and the electrics were shot, stripped it down and rebuilt/rewired/repainted it. Not finished yet, just picked up new side panels and a complete new rear drum. Not everyones cup of tea but it's been an experience.

 

What's so special about the flash unit that you can't use any 12V flasher unit?

 

It's a 9 pin unit as opposed to the 2 pin unit that i've replaced on other bikes.
If i could use any though that'd be great.

 

So rewire the indicator circuit using a 2 pin flasher?

 

I don't have that kind of electrical knowledge, and for the sake of £20 from a breakers and £40 new from wigan yamaha, i'd rather not risk having a go! :thumbsup:
