Solid bike them XJ900, great for work, just make sure tyres have not been on for years, and if they have its a knock down on the price good luck with it, post some pictures.

very low mileage on an old bike and little use usually means carb service, perished for seals and possibly bearing seals etc.
may well be fine at first but you usually find over the first few hundred miles all the problems start to show.
if it's cheap though then it's not really a problem.

@rocksteady Have you rode a TDM 900 very good bike, and running cost are great, its a twin with loads of power low down, great work, but a very good bike just an idea:thumbsup:

This bike is in Galaxy blue, in very good condition. New oil change and serviced. Has a bubble screen for touring, alarm system, electronic gear change indicator, fitted with centre stand. Rear bolt on luggage rack. Has suspension lowered as I'm only 5'8" easily put back to normal height if need be. Excellent for touring and commuting.

eddie as per carl really .sometimes a bike with very low miles and sat around for years can be worse than a high mileage bike thats used every day !

the engines are real good, in my honest opinion id sort out the CBR as they are do it all bikes and a well sorted CBR will be better than an XJ9..

why do you want a track bike ? just for three sis ? or are you planning moving int his direction ? oulton cad well etc?

was thinking keep the cbr as near to track as poss but road legal for rides out on my own and get the tourer type bike for wen mrs rs comes out and for work etc .cbr is clocking 35k now and would benefit from a little less riding lol allthough is still a bloody good bike .allways worry about dropping it as i use it 7 days and really want to move up from three sis and do oulton anglesey etc next year .
