My son begged me to buy Rugby World Cup 2011 game for the Xbox 360 today, it cost me £37.

All I can say is what a load of old tosh! I buy the FIFA football games year on year so I know how a sports game should look, feel and control.
I'm a huge fan of South African rugby (union) and was looking forward to playing this xbox game with my son...imagine my surprise when I loaded this turd into the drive - thought I'd been transported back to the early 90's.

    Graphics are shockingly poor
Audio is just plain weird (think my sega mega drive had better audio with FIFA '95)
Gameplay is haphazard to say the least.
I've also had the game freeze on me once.

Cut a long story short, I'd like to take the game back to the shop although my son claims the game is good (I think he's just excited about having a new game).
So be warned rugby union fans, buy at your own peril.

Don't even like the sport but I played the demo. Got to agree though, FIFA all the way. The new one's out at the end of next month mate! :D

My sons playing RWC 2011 now...snore!
I'll probably get FIFA 12 closer to Christmas as his pressie (pre-owned of course).

I always read plenty of reviews before i buy any game.

As long as your son is happy with it then job done, maybe you are just being too critical. :)
One mans rubbish is another mans treasure and all that

The newest settlers got a slating by most reviewers, but i love it.
They just didnt get it, routing all your materials efficiently is part of the game

I usually check reviews etc and then buy pre-owned games. We just happened to be in Gamestation when my son noticed the game and wouldn't let up, so I bought it for him with the intention of having a few go's myself.
