One of the kids went to switch the xbox 360 on tonight and the tv displayed an error message saying it couldn't display at the connected device's resolution. I followed instructions on the internet on how to reset the display resolution of the xbox 360 but it didn't work and now the tv just displays a blank screen and the error message "no signal" is displayed. I've had the console repaired twice previously by Console Wizard in Bolton, each time it has lasted for less than a year but beyond the 3 month guarantee period. So the question is, do I attempt to repair it myself or do I go buy a new xbox 360? Does anyone know of any good deals on a new xbox 360? Is Microsoft going to be releasing a successor to the xbox 360 in the near future?
The word on the street is once you have had it repaired it will die again. I bought one of the new xboxs (250gb version) a couple of months ago. Not a problem with it and it comes with hdmi as standard. 4gig version Click
