Apparently they take the fangs out of them so it cant inject venom anyway, and they do it as a method of teaching the kids not to be shit scared of snakes.

Still bullshit, cos the damn kid will think he can play with them all the time, wait til one comes along with a nice set of fangs and a full bag of killing juice.
