complain to the police? sad fact is that this is not unheard of they take little enough interest in " domestics" and tbh it wouldn't have surprised me if you had gone on to say that she also turned on you. That said well done for doing what you did if it was me or mine I'd like to think there were still people like you in the world despite the police's attitude
Ridiculous! Good on you playing the hero though mate. I'd probably have ran the opposite way.... I couldn't overpower a manaquine, never mind a bloke with a knife lol.
Good on yer mate.... so did he threaten you with the knife too. Thats an arrestable offence too and Seperate from the assault on the girl

If thats the case I take my hat off to you. and the cops... Once only in a lifetime though.. Soybds
From what I figured out a neighbour I recon a neighbour already rang the coppers I did try the come on calm down approach with which I got the do you want it as they do in your face and next thing I know, German safety boots are great lol Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Ok well done defending someone who needed defending but ffs don't think about doing it again, either he wasn't serious about using the knife or you got very lucky. I don't care how hard anyone thinks they are you can't defend yourself against a knife without full body armour or a gun. Remember number one comes first, you've got kids who need a father.
I know what your saying.but.it's a bit late when your 2 foot away then realise oh shit it's a decision that is made in a split second Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
About 8 years ago I was attacked with a knife from behind. Slashing motion rather than stabbing motion. Rather thankful for that tbh, also when i turned around it was a random girl. This was because I had threatened her boyfriend. The "don't hit girls" rule kinda goes out the window, and then the boyfriend turns up during the mess, and wants a go because I just floored his bird. Adrenaline is a powerful tool. Pro-tip: Hold the girlfriends hair in your fist, then punch the boyfriend with that fist. This way you can keep an eye on her whereabouts and it stops her picking up the knife again, lol.
Bad one, could have been a lot worse, I've been threatened with knives a good few times but only been stabbed once, didn't even realise I'd been stabbed till I woke up the next morning covered in blood, lots of stitches but no real damage. Funny enough the fella who I think stabbed me (it was in the middle of a big ruck) has just been shot in both legs.
Is bollocks. May get slated for this but if they're big enough to have a go at a bloke (knives or whatever) then I see no problem at all in administering a right hand. People bang on about equality so yeah.... what's good for one is good for another. Well done for flooring her and top tip .
I completely agree with you.. I expect the same back if I ever have a go at ANYONE. Most blokes run a mile when they realise they're going to get done in though Sent from my Sony Xperia Z1 Compact via Tapatalk
