Trying to fit a hornet radiator to my Cbf, its exactly the same bar one issue, the thermostat is set about 2 inches lower than the cbf version, and the bikes frame/chassis just about covers it, if i could set the radiator forward by 1cm the crisis would be averted and the screw in themostat connection would fit, has anyone on here ever tried to do something similar?

Maybe longer bolts and use nuts as spacers?

Sorry for the late reply. Right, heres the radiator on the cbf, note the postion of the thermostat [IMG] and this is a Cb600f rad, again note the thermostat, its set about 2 inches lower. [IMG] and these are the connection bolts, sadly a longer bolt and washers
wont work as the main bolt is attatched via the side.[IMG] [IMG] as the next photo shows the fairing will allow about 1cm of movement forward, that will then allow the thermostat sensor to be sat in the Cb600f's slightly lower postition.[IMG]

Can you not just bend the top left bracket?

Theres only one small centre bracket at the top, wouldnt hold the weight sadly. The one you can see on the photo at the top is to hold the fan on

This is sort of what im thinking of trying, making something is like an extended washer that has two holes in to hold it forward a bit

Yes, I always do stuff like that, but I make it out of shitty easy to bend metal first, then upgrade to a stronger material.
Don't underestimate how strong you need it to be..!

Ordered the new radiator today, £52 brand new, slightly better that the £330 Honda wanted!
