Where to go wednesday/thursday?

Where's a decent place to ride to this wednesday? I've finally got some time off and could do with going out for a ride, getting a bit rusty (me not the bike).

If the weather is crap, which there is a good chance of i'll try and get out thursday instead. Should be 3 of us with a bit of luck.

 

have you been down the A59 from tickle trout to harrogate ?
really good road,nice fast bits and mostly quiet.

I like this run midweek take the M6 up to Junc 32 turn right onto the A59 stay on the A59 untill you reach
point B on the map this is Dick Turpins butty van its a layby on the left between Gisburn and Skipton (look out for the flags on the main road).then continue up to Skipton then take the B6265 over to Hawes for dinner,then take B6256 back down to Ingleton,turn right onto A687 then left onto the A683 down to Caton again another brew stop then pick up the M6 back to Wigan all in about
150 mile ish

similar to the one we did the other week Dave,the B roads are the best bits as they are bit quieter

 

Does look a good run that XJR, thanks pal. Think I'll go Thursday as I'll not be up till about 2 tomorrow and weather is due to be poor wednesday but good thursday.

 

turn left at gisburn, the road between there and the a65 is brilliant...then head into settle and go up to hawes via ribble head...its a cracker

 

I went on that run xjr, was very good but I did take a bit of a wrong turn. Must have been at Ingleton because I ended up back in Skipton.

Going to go back next week and try again. Really enjoyed it though, roads and the weather were both spot on. Took a few snaps as well while it were nice.
