http://www.snapthepeaks.co.uk/Walks/Wetton/wetton.htm Wetton, has a great cafe beside a river it is really pretty but the way to it and from it is down a picturesque trail so small that the road actually becomes a shared footpath and bridleway and then after the cafe the path widens and becomes a road through a tunnel under a disused railway line . The rest of the tour takes in Hulme End where there is a great pub and a camp site, ~Long Hill, the back trail up to the Cat and Fiddle and a speedy romp over "the Winking Man" so called because of a rock formation that looks like an eye and as you pass it the rock behind makes the eye seem to close then open again. Feedinging the fish at Bakewell is fun ...those who have been will agree some of the trout down there are almost three feet long and fight the swans for bread ..... If you havent ridden up (or down) Wynatts pass yet, it's well worth seeing, and the road out from Newhaven to Cromford is a bikers wet dream......seldom policed, no sheep, its fast twisty and demanding in parts , or just a great road for those who prefer more sedate touring speed. i used to love taking the R1200 down there. So if anyone is up for a wander next fine day we get let me know.
Hope there's plenty of naked women at the nude camp for that speedy romp lol Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
you wouldnt want to get involved with Tideswell women..most of them are farmer daughters, they would eat you alive .....
