You also need to chop two pieces of wood to cover the spindle hole, disc mount surface and holes.
Drill a hole thru the middle and secure with studding nuts n washers.

Dont assume the powder coater will do it for you.
Failng to do this, youll have to retap the disc threads and it wont sit flat... And your new bearings wont fit!

Just pull the bearings out half way get them powder coated and take tham out the rest when done so you have a clean hole to put them back in

Sent from my GT-I9305

They should tape up any holes before powdercoating, who are you using and how much are they charging?

A place in knowsley said £50 for the set and a place in Birkenhead said £40 each but reading up now powder coating can cause the rims to develop cracks. I can get them crack detected at work before and after to be safe but I might just get them wet sprayed instead. Anyone on here fancy doing them for me ???

powder coat sucks ass!!! it's so hard to find a decent powder coater.

i'm about two minutes from the one in birkenhead and i go to ellesmere port to get anything coated ;)

i use a guy for bike painting, good value for the standard of work, give me a shout if you're stuck.

CCPC Ltd in Salford did a set of wheels for £30 - I think that's his minimum charge. He's done a few bits for me and I was happy with them (front wheel/alternator cover).
