what oil?

    I wanna give the "Hairnet" some spring clean. Oil and air filters, new pads and tyres and get it properly polished.

    Question is - what oil do I put in? I do not know what's in it now as it was not me who changed it last time. Can I mess anything up by using different type of oil then the one currently used?

    10w40.

    Any good motorcycle oil should do.

    I usually stick with shell stuff.

    i use the same stuff and i put it in everythin frm 50cc to 1300cc bikes

    If you dont know whats in now then i wouldnt top up (just my opinion) replace the lot with 10/40 as mentioned above I use Rock Oil myself

    any decent semi synthetic will be o.k. don't forget to warm it up before you drain the old oil out.
