I actually have a real softspot for the E64s, especially the V8s. But that..... just..... what a waste.
Fair play if he gets a good price. Like the 6 Series, wouldn't buy this one even if I could afford it. If he'd defaced a modern Audi, now that would be a pleasure to see.
You'd need to wrap the entire car, every piece of interior trim, recover all the leather trim (so seats, armrests, doorcards, etc.) and then replace some of the components that you can't really wrap or recover (head unit, steering wheel, etc.) and that's before you even look inside the engine bay or boot... Not worth it. Not by a loooooong shot lol
