dark, damp, cold, horrid, miserable, depressing and forgettable day. I know we are privileged to have a relatively comfortable life style with access to dry, warm transport what ever the weather. Nevertheless, having been a biker on a dry, twisty grippy ribbon of tarmac in nice mild temperatures, in a gang of like minded folk with iron horses on the gallop, not getting down when dealt this at the weekend is not an easy call.
