It looks like the only fine day in the week is going to Wednesday, if anyone wants to to join me for a wander, but I am going to set off earlyish. This will be a bit of a mystery tour for me too as I am trying to find a place I have only been as a kid somewhere down Tideswell Dale where there are stepping stones . Its a Touring speed trip because the roads are winding and narrow but the scenery is going to be good if the weather is kind to us. I can meet up with folks at the Cat and fiddle if anyone wants to join in part way . Then going out towards Longnor over roads you wont know and might not like, then down to find Dovedale. I have to be back for 3:30 for a pick up the kids run (not on the bike). For a Change we are going to start by running over HolmeMoss into Holmfirth, then taking the Woodhead Road back to Glossop, then Hayfield /New Mills/Whaley Bridge /Long Hill/ Back road to the Cat then off on the mystery tour.
