After some weather/temp/scratch proof paint does it exist? will be used on both the frame and maybe the wheels?
goes on ok but does not resist fuel - looks bloody awfull if you get a splash on it... i used it on my frame and every time i fuelled it the paint got bloom. id recommend you use summat else. hammerite is easy to get a nice finish but trust me it will soom look crap, and if you try to put a fuel proof lacquer over the top like pro xl uv & fuel proof clear coat.. it will react with the hammerite & buubble it to fk. tried it. it's crap. dont do it.
And the best chrome cleaner? To remove rust and buff it up to a nice shine? I've got black fairing set inlucding tank, so the plan is to make the old girl sellable whilst learning. Then buy a bigger bike and sell mine on
cheapest is toothpaste i use solvol autosol but some say it is too abrasive. there is better stuff but it does me. like once a year lol
Right new panels are on the bike now i need new brakes and tyres. First question are the drum brakes the same size? as in pads... will these work? : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Front-Rear-Brake-Drum-Shoes-HONDA-CB125-CG125-NH125-/270501085970?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3efb1f0312 and new tyres, ive decided on pilot sporty but do you guys no of any better? im after good grip but not a racing machine
best to mail the seller m8 and let him know what year your bike is... yours has a disc front doesnt it, that set is for front & rear drum like off the old brazil model & earlier. could well be that your rear drum is bigger than the old model... you could do a oem part number search at wemoto or silvers then cross reference the part number, or email the goldfren guy and ask him to quote you a match for your honda number.
Nah my old girl is a BR-t 1996 Brazil model I think its the right part bu tlike you said ill email him, o and were should i get my tyres from and fitted? i can take the wheels off easyto take to the garage
