We won't get started on the commercialisation of Trance from 2001 omwards. That would be a thread and a half Found another one on Vinyl this morning while I was rooting round. The Act - Something About You (DJ Garry Mix) Can't post up youtube of It as I am at work
There is some decent Trance out at the moment. Im proper digging this at the moment John o'callaghan - Big sky ( Agnelli & Nelson remix) http://youtube.com/watch?v=wUbw4-6l6WE Onova - Platitude http://youtube.com/watch?v=chdzzU3mRZo Andy Blueman - Nyctalopia (Onova Remix) http://youtube.com/watch?v=H_ZziCGHNdQ&feature=related The Andy blueman one is absolutely stunning, makes your hairs stand on end, just the way Trance is supposed too
Been listening to alot of dnb/oldskool and trance etc recently ! how fit is she for a dnb artist and the stuff she does is quite good. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... 219e5121d7
Aye once it went back underground more decent tunes came out. Will never be as good as the hayday with Scott Bond, Oakey, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Ashley Caselle, Paul Van Dyk, Push / M.I.K.E, Lucien Foort, Tall Paul, John Kelly, Guy Ornadel, Matt Hardwick, Sander Kleinenburg and other sets lost in the mists of time. Me and a few mates went to a classic trance night in Preston a couple of years ago. It was fookin awesome 8) 8) 8)
Yeah i agree you'll never beat the old stuff. My fave old trance tune used to be Pikes and Forbidden fruit by Paul Van Dyk. Also Push's hauntingly good Universal nation. Its just a shame theres nowhere that plays it in Manchester, all it seems to be is Electro house and commercial shite like basshunters now your gone or the donk scouse house bollocks
If I hear of anywhere doing a decent Trance night I will put it up on here. Bring back Full Moon, they where proper mental shindigs
A better mix of Andy bluemans's tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJX8CaX7BJI 2 mins 20 onwards what a fantastic breakdown
Would'ent of minded to go to the old hacienda nightclub in it's hayday before it got turn into apartments ! damm property developers.
We can only thank Hacienda and the DJ's who played there who kick started Dance music, if it wasnt for them we wouldnt be listening to it now.
