wasted fuel

Had to nip up to Lytham on the bike last night..burned up twenty three quid in fuel.....Must remember to go slower next time....

 

that would last me about three weeks, lol

£23 would get me from the fuel station to home, only .5 mile as well... Haha

£23 will do me 80miles.

 

Glad I never bought that sx now lol, whats that about 25 mpg??

 

I get 150 miles to £18.00 of fuel, what is the high rev range, mine starts to eat fuel a 6000rpm keep it below and ride gentle to get 150 miles ride hard and drops to 110 miles instead.

 

Lister do you ride it hard lol.

 

Mine gets more when you ride more spirited

Ok so you did ..... But was it the bike you were asking about?

 

200 miles generally.....red light comes on at about 168 and about 32 get me home miles after that....doing a steady fifty five with only me on it which is extremely rare once got 205 then filled up because I didn't want to end up pushing it....

 

similar to mine dave,pretty good considering the weight and bhp.

 

The R1200RT was much better....ridden steady it would do fifty to sixty to the gallon and was so much more comfortable... sigh.......but then most of my riding is two up.

 

16 litres I get 107miles
