Does anyone know anyone selling a cheapoer tourer, eg HONDA CBF600 or DOUVILLE Ive got upto £2500 and has to be clean and relaible May consider other makes
Just to say, you'll be chuffed to bits if you buy a Cbf600, best bike ive ever owned or ridden. Handles like a dream! Covered 1200 miles in the past 3 weeks in mine, never misses a beat! Get the Semi faired version and motorway work is also a breeze.
Plenty about for that money. Been looking at a tidy Blackbird today and I'll have change out of your budget. Not telling you were though till I've made my mind up . Should get sorted easily enough with that budget mate.
i'd go for blackbird vfr ect and as above you can get decent ones dirt cheap with average mileage, but dont let higher mileage put you off,my blackbirds done 51000 now and still runs sweet as a nut and does 210 mile to the tankfull.
My 2 pence... Can't recommend a VFR enough. Best of the lot mentioned as a compromise between touring and sporty. Deauville also a great bike. Best commuter mentioned probably. CBF great bikes. A lot if fun to ride but the VFR is beefier for luggage. Blackbird is amazing but a bit overkill in my opinion. Expensive insurance too in comparison.
I have a nice gsx650f that I have been thinking of selling, 2008 REG 15K. Been thinking of getting a newer bike. I went to assen gp in belgium on it last year sweet as a nut. It is a class D but that was on 1st june 2010, cosmetic only and I had the spares parts already (and more besides).
TOURER. ?..PAN ST1100 amazing bikes sport tourer ? VFR or Blackbird....both will go all day at 100 plus Get bar risers luggage and MRA screen on a Blackbird and you have the best of all worlds...Cbr1100xx forum is a good place to look. DONT BUY FROM JAX in York.....
https://www.facebook.com/groups/Biker.booty/?fref=nf For sale... BMW R850, R reg, 35,000 miles. New clutch and bearings, always serviced, tyres have covered less than 2000 miles, runs perfectly and mechanically sound boxer engine. Needs a bit of a tidy up aesthetically, dented tank (best to be honest) this bike is a real work house and has never let me down at all! Any questions please ask, £1250
