If anyone has any laying around for cheap or even free diameter is 50 - 51mm or 2" however you wanna look at it lol just wanting something better than standard exhaust thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Think.all cans are the same it's the link pipe that resizes if it needs or you can buy a step up or down piece for about £5 on ebay Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Or could just weld it straight on to the standard pipe without link pipe ?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Without getting abuse lol I'm sure most bikes standard exhaust is one piece from.header to muffler and that's why a link pipe is needed to do it your way you would have to cut part the stock exhaust off. To reuse but.sure someone will correct me.on this shortly Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
My current exhaust is a bolt on so would need cutting anyway to be able to use a slip on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't know.I thought.there would be a u clamp connecting it to the headers Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Wait I think I'm wrong.lol But if you lined a slip on up to that exhaust.and mark were it would end up and just cut it get.a step made and put together, to do it on.the cheap Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
My friend on Facebook said I could get a end can that's 2" put it on and clamp it down with a jubilee clip Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You can do that yeah, but if.you get.yourself a freebie.one.or.cheap.as chips and it's 2.5 lol Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
If it's 2.5 could get a reducer sleeve or would a link pipe 2" going to 2.5" work better ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah it's what I was thinking I might look at some breakers yards too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've a 2 inch reducer on the end of a 65 mm link pipe to a 65 mm end can Like a race fit one £80 and that cheap ! But it not free ) as good things don't come free an easy )
Just don't cut to much.off or your slip on will be pointing miles in the wrong direction Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
