Has anyone had their bike vinyl wrapped i was thinking on having a go myself and can anyone shed any light on the subject cheers
Hydro dip I know were you can get the hydro film and activater at a very good price, also if you have the cash they do a dip course 300 Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Don't do it unless it's for protection, and even then don't do it yourself as you'll be disappointed with the results. GixxerD had a bike that was wrapped in faux carbon fibre which looked great, but it wasn't perfect due to the weave patterns running in different directions on some panels.
I did my R125 myself with no experience Tried to wrap the tail: But it was too complicated and started to get bubbles appearing after a while, so painted the tail black instead: It isn't cheap and it isn't easy. I wouldn't be confident enough to do somebody else's bike unless we are talking really simple panels. If you don't mind trying it, it is worth a shot...but don't spend £300 on wrap and then regret it. Maybe start on smaller panels.
07712 543565 Lads name is James he does car wrapping cheap cheap He's up the from j&s bike shop he may be able to do bike parts )
Prescott signs in st.helens are very very good and compatible. Talk to the owner Dan. Place is just off Jackson Street. My bike is wrapped to look standard, had been on about 2 years and wasn't the best job but it's so much cheaper and easier to re-do, fix if ewt happens. Also that hydro dipping as mentioned is highly recommended.
I had a similar question Tuther day on here http://www.northwestbikers.net/index.php?threads/paint.20645/ Dipping results can be amazing! Them tanks have been dipped apparently
The tank is original paint and front cowling is red gel coat. The rest is Vinyl wrap over white gel coat. Bike came like this but was around £110
