I work for Victim Support in Greater Manchester. Victim Support is a National Charity with Local Branches throughout the Country. We have a dedicated team of trained Volunteer Case Worker’s who support victims & witnesses of crime. We have a fundraising target this year of £20,000 to support victims of Domestic Abuse within Greater Manchester & have been working hard to reach our target. With quiz nights, a music night & cake sales etc… I thought it would be great if I could organise a charity “ride out” with each biker & pillion passenger making a donation to take part. I was thinking maybe £5-£10 each. I was thinking that the ride could start & end at Rivington Barn, a popular Bikers meet in Horwich(GM) ride up to Devils Bridge, Kirby Lonsdale & ride back which I think would be a total of about 120 miles. Provisional date is also Sunday 21st September. Official details will be posted soon once everything is finallised. Atm I would just like an idea of numbers for the event.
