Sounds alright that James, idling a bit high but that's newt a quick turn of the screw won't sort. Can't wait to come down n have a look over it
Had another fiddle with it today.....yes the bike lol Managed to strip the alarm/immobiliser out completely and the bloody thing only still works..... wasnt expecting that. Need to service the rear brake caliper and give the fronts a good clean. Then chain can be fitted. I need to clean the fuel tank out, any tips on how to do it? Cheers Jimmy

couple of bottle's of vinegar swished around works on rust,i did my collector box a couple of years back and it worked
I've got a bit of a write up on Electrolytic rust removal if you want me to paste it over here (It's a little different than the tank, the only difference being that rather than plug and fill the tank with water I submerged the whole frame) It is one of the best ways to remove rust from anything in my Opinion.
It'll Work but slowly, I'd reccomend the 'Distilled Vinegar' from Asda/tescos rather than Cider Vinegar.
