VFR 400NC30 project

    Thought I had a project thread on here but cant find it so will start a new one, basically got the nc30 running last week, just gonna put a vid up of it.

    Sounds alright that James, idling a bit high but that's newt a quick turn of the screw won't sort. Can't wait to come down n have a look over it

    Had another fiddle with it today.....yes the bike lol
    Managed to strip the alarm/immobiliser out completely and the bloody thing only still works..... wasnt expecting that. Need to service the rear brake caliper and give the fronts a good clean. Then chain can be fitted.
    I need to clean the fuel tank out, any tips on how to do it?

    seems unconventional to me but this guy knows his shit. Will be worth checking out his other videos too. got one for Pretty much everything to do with restoration.

    yep, can vouch for the science behind it. used a similar method while making thermite as a child lol

    couple of bottle's of vinegar swished around works on rust,i did my collector box a couple of years back and it worked

    I've got a bit of a write up on Electrolytic rust removal if you want me to paste it over here (It's a little different than the tank, the only difference being that rather than plug and fill the tank with water I submerged the whole frame) It is one of the best ways to remove rust from anything in my Opinion.

    It'll Work but slowly, I'd reccomend the 'Distilled Vinegar' from Asda/tescos rather than Cider Vinegar.
