You will need to book ASAP Matty nearly all that go book for the following year when they are there

As close to Douglas as possible is best for camping, but there are sites all over the island , All the night action is in Douglas , so if your away from Douglas you have to ride in , which means no beers ! Or expensive taxis

I find the best parts are the fast corners ballascary ! Cronky voddy ! As opposed to quarter bridge and braddan church etc.

You will easy get to sort viewing points, but for race week , you need to book ferries and campsite ASAP that means now !

AFAIK Isle of Man steam packet are the only company to sail to the isle of man, they are taking deposits now for TT 2013.

I hope you've saved matty, i believe you get your pants pulled down getting there. worth it for a one time thing though ... i went years ago on an mcn day deal thing. ferry over there, free brekky, coach round the course then dropped off at creg-ny-baa, watched two races then back home that evening. was ace and it only cost £50 !! Didnt enjoy sleeping on the floor of the ferry though :(

Im thinking of doing a 10 dayer next year in shared accpmadation with some other lads i know. i enjoyed watching from union mills , crosby and on bray hill but i recon its all good, i wanted to goto creg na ba but they were charging £20 one day and i didnt feel like spending the mpney wen i could go to bradon brodge for free. I had a mega time thow and coming bak down to reality is truly shite.

yes thats a good post about the day trip Matty

if you aint ever been before don't go jumping into the full fortnight thing. it is expensive a few companies run day trips on the fast boat from heysham . i got a flight for the races this year which i booked last june £45.00 return !! you could fly and still take your camping gear.

if your taking a bike just ride careful its a full madhouse when the roads are open .

im not sure what the camps are called but there are a few around the grandstand area and also the football pitch just outside douglas, id say these were near to all the action and are within walking distance from some good vantage points, races are every other day Sat Mon Weds and Fri .

there is loads of other things to do and see though on non race days ENJOY

Coming home tomorrow. Nice to see Dayo and Rod at the Sprint :)
Not the best one though this year. VERY wet but got some miles in, but not much on the mountain. Might get some runs in at dawn tomorrow. Thanks to Goody, Sean-F and the girls for being good company :)

Another great TT. Besides from a few rainy days, the mountain road being closed too often and too many people clogging the track ... I mean road up, it was another top TT holiday. Cant wait for next year now.

Me and Ant are on ITV 4 as well, Jamie Whitam’s being interviewed at sign post corner and we come past on the bikes
