Wanted to start getting myself onto a few track days just to start off, question is do you have to wear leathers or can it be textiles?

Textiles, are you fuckin mental. might as well go out in a pair of jeans and use corregated cardboard as a back protector, why not go the whole hog and duct tape a pan to your head instead of a helmet... lol. the speeds you will be going mate ya need somethin that is gonna survive a slide, gravel rash and protect you against impact. textiles just wont cut it.

this is ok, but you may get frowned at a bit.

you have to wear a full face helmet, like this.

instead of wearing leathers, if you have thick skin, you can just cover yourself in grease or lard.
this will help you slide along the tarmac stylishly.
