i personally like wales, its only 35 minutes from me.fantastic roads and scenery.many different routes and varied terrain.plenty of places to stop and chill.also loads of other bikers to meet and chat etc.the only minus points are sometime the cops are out to get you aswell as the cagers touring the place.oh and caravans, but thats mainly at bank holidays. i like to get off the main routes and see the real countryside, but sometimes the zzr just keeps spinning the back wheel and wont travel on grass. i think it doesnt like getting covered in sheep shit.
b4391,b4407 and some unamed roads, one is off the horseshoe pass, which brings you out at carrog station near the a5.only passable when dry.just get off the main roads and follow you sense of adventure, was easier on my versys though great bike.
Will take a note of them roads. Maybe we will get a group run out in summer! I'm not too far was going to go down a49 from carrington to shewsbury then round to longaollen to that ponderous cafe then just have a good ride round. Got to be a full dayer I think. Would make such a difference this year because last year all I did was repair it lol I keep hearing about the horse shoe pass must be good!!
