I had a long conversation with Dave Wood today, thats the guy that won the KTM Superduke challenge in 08 then the RC8 cup last year as support races at BSB.

I wanted to improve the top end on the duke to stop the sports bikes beeting me up over 140mph & he really knows his onions, basicaly ive got:-

    An airbox mod
    SAS Valve removal
    O2 Sensor removal plugs
    Akra Cans & Y peice
    Akra Headers
    Power Commander

Now he is going to set up my Valve clearences so they are wider as when sports bike engines get hot they loose anything up to 6 horses because of that (Genius simple but would never think of it) & do a bespoke map.

In total the whole lot will have cost me 1300 over a couple of months by using ebay to get all the bits.

The lesson is before you start modding ask somone who knows as all this will get me 26 ponnies at the back wheel & loads more torques. Foooookin mega an roll on the ring!!!
