    Hi all
Just started riding my Suzuki GN125 my first learner bike and all is well except for the indicators. The right hand side front and rear both work fine but the left front one flashes alot quicker whilst the left rear doesnt work at all. I've swapped the bulbs to see if that was the problem but its not so from my very limited knowledge I'm assuming its either a wiring fault, a dodgy indicator unit or something to do with the fuse or relays, any suggestions or help?

    Cheers
    Mike

Make sure there is no corrosion where the bulb sits, check connector too. Have you got a test light or multimeter ?

yeh unplug the wires and plug them back in, probably just a loose connection.
if the connectors are ok (sometimes helps to squeeze them a bit with pliers to make a tighter fit) check the bulbholder terminals - scratch them up bright with a bit of sandpaper.

Cheers for the replies, just wish this rain would stop so I could have a look and find the problem. I've not got a multimeter but can probably get my hands on one though. Whereabouts on the bike will the connections from the indicators be (couldn't see any obvious ones near the indicator itself when I looked, do they run under the seat perhaps?).

The front indicator should be fine, it flashes quicker because the back 1 isnt working
which alters the voltage draw through the relay.
Sort the wiring out to the back indicator as mentioned above, this will sort the front 1
    at the same time m8

b&q do a basic multimeter for £7 that will be good enough for what you want.
the wires run through the stem of the indicator & under the seat, into a shrouded bunch of connectors under the seat near the tail light.

Anyone got any ideas what could be the cause of the speedo dial stopping working?

Probably the pick up has broken/cable snapped

I would imagine that your speedo is cable driven off the front wheel m8, either the cable has snapped
or the drive mech is broken. Both are easy jobs to do.

Disconnect the cable from the wheel drive and the back of the clocks, you can now see if the cable has
    snapped.

Thought it would be the cable but wasn't sure where it ran to from the back of the speedo, looks like another job for when I finish work, wheres best to get either of the parts from seen cables on ebay but don't fancy having to wait on the delivery if I can help it.

You will probably have to go the main dealers or buy off the internet and wait for it to arrive m8,
unless you have a good local bike shop that sells loads of bits and bobs.
