Sunny Tuesday 28th Chippy Run Betws y coed

Bike should be back on the road for tommorrow And the weather is surpost to be sexy and sunny, so whos up for a chippy run to Betws y coed tommorrow evenin leavin Asda Quennsferry at 6 to half past. We will be overtaking Caravans, Tractors and cyclists making progress, filtering through traffic etc when safe to do so. So people please bare in mind if this is the right chippy run for you. But as per usual there will be a drop off system and everyone waits and looks after the slowest riders ie: me.. :bleh:

doubtful for me as i work just off the asda roundabout and leave work 5ish.
no way of getting back, getting bike out and riding back there for 6.
thats why ive been going buxton instead - saves riding back where ive just been in my van, down 40 miles of motorway!

 

If it falls through i may go C&F then kebab and pub @ Buxton.

 

If wales is to far for everyone i dont mind hittin buxton for a keeeebab post up wat u think peeps...

 

Am good for the kebab run. Wales is at least 200 mile round trip, more if taking the good roads. Not on a school night

 

And the roads are mega up there.

This time I'll bring my bloody clear visor!!!!

 

Actually just relised it charlottes birthday tomorrow.

Not a chance I'll get out then :/

 

Fair chance there'll be more than 1 run this week. Weather meant to be good from midweek-ish into next week...

I've got the day off tomorrow so I'm planning on heading over to betws y coed earlier than that. Might see you going the other way though.

 

thats otherwise known as glazing the bores mate.
its what manufacturers recommend to ensure you need a new engine after 3 years.
you need to load the engine for a good run-in.
as in dont lug it in low gear, dont roll along babying the motor, get it to do some work.
this puts pressure on the rigs, forcing them out into the bores and beds them in for a good tight seal.

do yourself a favour and google 'dyno break-in'
