Weather permitting Meeting at Rivvy barn and leaving at 10:00. Over Belmont and towards Preston, head to the A59 to Gisburn, Settle, (maybe Hawes and Sedbergh), Devils Bridge, Abbeystead and back to Preston. This is not going to be a mad pace, more of a bimble with a few opportunities for some spirited riding. There will be several easy to navigate meeting points which we will regroup at. For the avoidance of doubt. Familiarise yourself with the route and regrouping points ( both to be confirmed later in the week) Be prepared to wait at the agreed regrouping points Ride your own ride. Do not feel pressurised to ride outside your comfort zone If you are not happy with the way the day is going, sod off and do your own thing, just let someone know No bitching about bad organisation because I really don't give a shit Enjoy yourself If you want to join in, let me know so I can plan the route
firstly, i wanna bitch about anything that will pass the day in work! however im not in work so this could be right up my street........bit of a change from wales, but i am working saturday night so it depends what time i get in.........and therefore get up ha ha 10 am is a tad early for me but il try my bestest
I am game for this, meet in Preston rather than trekking down to Rivington preferably (mainly because I have never been and have no idea where it is). I can loiter around at the back somewhere
For Anyone wanting to meet in the Preston area I would suggest Huntleys car park. ( it is the farm store almost opposite BAE on the A59. You can get a brew whilst waiting
I will be in. I was planning a ride with mr chicken and mr rabbit to Yorkshire lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk sue
Yeh I can come down that way. 10:30 ish? On a side note, new member first ride, whats the deal with fuel stops? Will there be opportunity?
Sounds good to me, would have to meet at Preston as well as I can never find Rivi barn, unless someone from Oldham way will show me.
Willing to play sweeper / Tail End Charlie if you want.... or lead... don't mind.. Just let me know route you're planning and I'll bung it in satnav...

Stunning scenery up there from top of t'hills... Climb up from Hawes is on moor type roads, so nice and open... down the other side it winds down the edge of a valley with a few hairpins. A few cattle grids and quite bumpy...
