what happened Kev ? chris posted the drop of points to re group . No plan was spoken off before you all set off? i forsee Queen Sue at the keyboard later ..GRrrrrrrrrrrrr
It was agreed when we setting off a59 till a petrol station where we all regrouped. The road on the route we was going to take was shut. This was only a few hundred yards up the road from the petrol station. Diversion was well sign posted and we stayed on that road till settle. The traffic on the way to settle was pretty heavy and almost everyone was together. Me and Chris got to the front but stopped while everyone else caught up. It was in settle we found out kev had posted on the forum.
Sorry to Kev, not sure where you lost us. Maybe the roundabout where we went off to Settle? That road was bad for traffic, we all got separated. There was someone waiting but must have thought the guy behind me was the last one. Got to say though, I had a great time today, even though I was at the back most of the time. Maybe the fast front people had a shit day waiting for me, who knows! All in all a great ride, only 2 or 3 stops and some brill roads. Thanks guys
Which way did you all go? Am I right in thinking the shut down road was the one leading from gisburn to long preston? Best time for all the roads round there is mid-week in summer! Everyones at work and there's no sunday drivers about, just the odd biddy that it's a piece of piss to overtake
Great ride and great company. The road to Hawes is cool and I can fly.The ride was simple and straight forward with stopping points to regroup, the destination didnt change, so sorry that kev turned back. The ride was not fast either as the roads were very dusty (salt) and some corners had loads of crap spread across the road. :shades:
where did we lose you? i thought you'd ended up tagging along with one of the other groups? were bloody loads out today, got a bit confusing to say the least!! especially the one were chris shat himself
Beechys' new Busa, He want sure about the colour but as soon as he saw the chain guard he just new he had to buy it LMFAO
Forgot to say thanks for flinging horse shit up me haha, when we stopped you stopped in some horse shit and when you rode off it was flicking everywhere I could smell it all the way home lol
kev was at the back but the traffic was heavy and slow with loads of bikes out, i thought he'd ended up tagging along with another group and got mixed up? i almost did the same a couple of times!!
I got about 40 miles up the a59 and was in what appeared the back of beyond. I was always going straight but from the maccies on the a59 I had know one in front at all.
