Looking at getting one made as they aren't an item that is availabe for my bike as far as i'm aware.

Tried google to no avail, any companies that do this kind of thing?

There are loads of Plastic style belly pans on google, most say hornet/cbf600 so if you don't want a plastic one I'd have a look to find a metal one for a hornet, would probably fit.

Yeah those are easy enough to find. But it's for off road use as opposed to on road  I'm currently thinking of locating one for a bmw and modifying it to fit the cbf if all else fails.

Custom design one and make it out of tread plate :D Will be genuinely cheaper and likely easier. If you know someone with a welder.

I have seen it done before, a lot of people did it for the Triumph Tiger 955s, I'll see if I can find any pics for inspiration for you.

EDIT: Looked but the threads I remember are so old the pics have gone now - sorry!

Just remember ventilation when making one, you'll want airflow going to the sump and pipes.

This is what i'm looking at doing with some sheet metal. (The kind they use for heavy duty non slip flooring albeit a tad thinner) Although i think the skid pan from a varadero 1000 may fit with a bit of modification. [IMG]
