Just tipping you folks off so you don't think I've lost the plot. The All Counties Challenge is being done by members of the Street Triple Forum (on www.street-triple.co.uk). We heard about the Olympic torch and thought we'd do something for charity so we are taking our mascot, a bear called Miles Hinckley, around all counties in the UK to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I'm off to Wales tomorrow to collect our bear and then go for a good ride out with some of the forum members. I'll bring Miles back and take him to the Isle of Man next week as well. I'm responsible for taking him round Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and Dumphries and Galloway and will be running him round all these counties when I come back from the Isle of Man. If anyone has ideas on where I can take photos of him at places that best represent these counties please give me your ideas. So far I've collected £560. I'm collecting a cheque from my employers for a further £500 and have another £350 pledged by workmates that I still have to collect. So if you see me with a bear on my bike.. both here and at the TT ..... I've not gone mad or regressed to my childhood. I'm raising money for Macmillan.
In Dumfries and Galloway look for the Oystercatcher pub / restaurant at Otterferry. It is on the shores of Loch Fyne and The seafood is local and exceptional with some mega roads in the area
Steve. Head over the Hardknott pass and you will find the "Three Shires Stone". This is the point at which Cumbria Westmoreland and Lancashire meet
RESPECT ! Great idea you seem to be travelling a wide area , can't you just have lancs ? On the island grab hold of John macguiness, he does alot of charity work and would support you with a picture In Liverpool , try go on a Friday or Saturday night. You will get a picture that best represents the city with some scrote either throwing up in the gutter or being mugged ! Keep it real !

Thanks for all the nice comments and ideas. Ive just got back home form a 350 mile trip to collect the bear and have a whizz around Wales. Hopefully I'll get a chance to introduce you folks to Miles.
