Anyone fancy joining me for a ride today? Scotch - Southport - Leisure Lakes - Holmeswood Bends - Croston Bends - Parbold Hill - Ormskirk - Scotch... Only a little 50 miler so wont be a killer on fuel etc Planning on leaving here about 11:30 - Meet at the Scotch for 12(ish) and then Southport and on from there Not a massive ride out as i need to get back and start packing up (Moving house) View attachment 777
there was a speed camera halfway round the croston bends Bob…it was a marked transit type van easily seen but he gets you if your speeding on one of the bend exits .. I deleted the other thread ..ride safe big man
Not to worry had a good ride out by myself Didn't have to worry about slowing people down or waiting for people could go at my own pace to where i wanted to go, stop when i wanted and take the route i wanted without worrying about anyone else Ended up doing the route backward with a bit of an added extra. Went Ormskirk - Parbold Hill - Toward Rivington but not all the way cut through a little place called Blackrod - Chorley - Preston - Croston Bends - Holmeswood Bends - Southport Carousel - then back through Liverpool onto 'The Tap and home again All in approx 120 mile ride haven't been out in a few days on it so felt good to blow the cobwebs away
