Looking at lowering my bike a little due to being a short arse. Apparently 310mm is the shortest I can go. I've seen a pair for a 125cc would they be fine on a 500 cc? Not much I can find other than getting a set of hagons made and there around £180 bit much for just dropping the bike a little. The 125cc set is around £50.

Just pull stanchions up through the triple and wind the rear shock down.
    Cost nothing lol

I did that last night lol. It has made a difference! Turns a lot quicker too lol might knock it down another setting on the shock it's on the third notch of 5 so a few to go.

you could also cut the foam out of the seat and fit a gel pad

The 125 shock will, more than likely be massively under sprung.

Look at longer dog bones as a cheaper solution.

cheers, thought there might be something in it lol, after dropping the front and softening up the back ive pretty much got both balls of my feet down so thats not bad now. i think after putting slightly longer shocks on last year and the new seat cover which had a bit of extra padding it just lfted it up above the midget zone for me hahaha.

If you're bike has dogbones, no need to mess with the shock. You can just buy longer ones, or even make adjustable ones.

lowering the front further than the rear ,,i.e. not lowering the same amount will alter the bikes geometry ,so there fore it would defo turn in quicker will help braking too as the weight is more to the front wheel… the downside is you risk the front suspension bottoming out ,which will make the bike fell vague and poss cause chatter..this will feel uncomfortable esp in the Wet ..

these guys do pro kits not sure on your model …

Could try a softer spring in rear then no need to touch front end. Doing same thing on a ER6 this week.
