    Hello people.
Linked to the "2 stroke" from the off topic page.
Looking for a 50cc engine, does anyone have a scrapper that they don't want? 2/4 stroke. Doesn't matter which.

    Must be a automatic tho.

    Cheers

Check the local scrap yards and stuff mate... Blacks in Ormskirk, Hills in Skemersdale. In sure there are a few 50's knocking about in there that they may let go for cheap

Popping to blacks tomorrow as it's the end of my road and I know the owner well, what's your budget? Does this engine need to be a runner with V5 or can it be a non runner? From a stolen recovered bike?
    Shaft/chain/belt driven

Auto is all I could see in your posts.
Let me know ASAP, will be going around 10am

Cheap as possible, dunno my budget
No non runners as I don't have the knowledge to fix it
    Doesn't need v5
    Chain or belt
    Automatic
    50 or 125, nothing bigger.

    Cheers :)

There were loads mate, completely forgot to get prices as the mod I'm doing for my dad is a right headache.

And depends on your budget, will you be coming here to pick it up?

If you don't find one, I have an old 90CC Pitbike lying around. It needs a bit of work, But i've had the engine running using a drill to start it. But again, it's semi auto.

[IMG]most of these are around £350 all runners. The ones up stairs haven't been started for ages and so may require some mechanical work/strip down rebuild to get working

Ha. Suppose that's one way of transporting the motor to where I want it

I meant just the engines. Stolen recovered bikes from auctions them

    Ahhhh. Okay.
Well hopefully I can find one cheaper than that.
Still got ages before this, just trying to get prepared for it.

What you need is a Stihl saw, you know the type. 2 stroke petrol disc cutters for cutting concrete blocks and bricks. The advantages are, pull cord srarting, centrifugal clutch, no gears, rev like stink and built in fuel tank all in a compact package. Get your arse around the tool hire places, see if you can pick a second hand one up cheap or flea bay. Google search Stihl Saw.
