Right I've had my dinner now,
Absolutely fantastic weekend with top people, cheers for coming . Bit disappointed the wind was so bad up there today for you guys, really wanted you to enjoy the A7 but I guess you get what you're given weather wise.
Hotel was great, friendly and well priced.

Pissed off about my mudguard though , still got the fucking feathers in it. Hope it's made you guys want to do a few more, doubt I'll do another before TT but after that I'll planning another.

Stevie, thanks for the go on your bike. It's awesome, trying to arrange a viewing on a Firestorm this week ;).

    Thanks again people, beer time......

Really wanted a go on Stevie's bike but if I'm honest, I was a little scared to ride it. Superb weekend and yes, great company all round :)

Yeah it's an early GSXR 1000 but he's done a flat bar conversion on it. It's great fun and I would imagine comfortable all day long (unlike mine!).
Never rode a GSXR 1000 before. Had a K7 600 the other week and that was dreadful. Impressed with Stevies though.

Cheers guys and girls, really enjoyed our 1st overnight adventure in to the borders ! ( Smudge no comment needed ! ) Excellent company, fantastic venue and even the weather made it more interesting.
Glad you liked my bike set up mark, had no problems with hand or wrist ache just a numb arse at the end but I will now find a solution to that and have the perfect all rounder !!!!
The roads in the area are very quiet and for the most smooth and well maintained and I would certainly go back there and explore further. Thanks mark for organising and would like an invite for you next jaunt after the TT and I will try not to stop so many times for a brew !
Your enthusiasm is to be admired and you have inspired me to travel further a field.
Phil and carol, top company as always and I hope she isn't put off coming along again once its warmed up a bit !
Your welcome to have a ride on my bike any time and it will only go as fast as you want it to !
Thanks again, off to bed now tired but contented and already looking forward to a new adventure !!
