    Up to penrith. Over to whitehaven on the coast down the A595 through broughton in furness Onto A5092 through newby bridge then along A590 to junction 36 of the m6 .

    That's an abitious haul with temps peaking at 3 deg.
    If you motorway to Penrith you'll be chilled before the fun starts.
    If you don't you'll have to be out early risking black ice.
    Be careful.

    theres about 4 125 riders on here that are mega keen on the ride outs...... they wont post till after 345pm though cos they will still be in school

    P.S.: How do you convince a 12 year old that bikes are fun and NWB ride-outs even more so?

    you have to start them on bikes at the age of 2 years not 12

    I've only had her since she was 5... and I've only been riding for a year now myself :blush:
    So I need some advanced persuasion techniques for nearly-teenagers here!

    i have been taking my kids on the back of the bike from around 7 i think......but they have both grown up around bikes.. and both have a bike...the only thing a can
    say is take her some where nice on the bike the first time and go slow...if she don't like bikes nothing you can do...

    tie them to the back , plug in their ipods and before you know you will be dad of the year
