Thanks lads will do most excited Ive been in a long long time :) should be mega got dad to do the paddock stands thanks for offering

quick q when u sign on do u get all ur kit on like u would at a race meeting for scruitineering? take it they tell u where to pull up an when to get the bike out had a look at the newbie post but it didnt mention it :)

just gonna take it real gentle for this one and ease myself into the bike although sayin that I know what I'm like haha
anyone got any clips of a fast rider on the natinal circuit could only find clips of the inter one tryin to speed up the learning process before I Get there.
just a gentle run to figure out the triple and work on a base setting first serious test is gonna be Mallory and Angelsy just itching to race her next year gonna be one long ass winter haha

been on a few sites mate photography ones car ones motoforum also its been in all the photography mags and Cheshire life accompanied by some of my pics

just been playing around with designs all week Ill post some in pics later on today just gonna make some subtle changes till I get some sponsors haha aims national license then the manx :) and other road racing circuits All ive been thinkin bout since i was 12 an listenin' to my uncle goin on bout his racing on a Norton long way to go but its fapping amazing to start realizing it now even if Im gonna be penniless for the next few years as it all will go into the racing. If i can just get a steady job in a bike shop....

bikes previous owner for us avid tt fans was Maria Costello met her last weekend when I picked it up of her truly was a pleasure to get to speak to her and have a good chat and Tony at cms; Elite motorcycles really old school propper racers really helpful to couldn't do enough :)

yep its mega propper job she is just need a good cup of tea now to go with it. She's a beaut of a 675 fully refreshed by john trigger and ready to go its barely done anything which is awesome for me just waiting on a few bits that should be here tomorrow throttle cable lockwire etc then gotta get some new racetecs and jobs a gooden when I eventually decide which compound to run haha so much choice with the ractecs think its on a k0 front and a k2 rear may try that

at the point where I cant sleep as it is haha and its a full week away

omfg did I type all that haha anyways Im rambling Ill shut up :D

Can i ask what did it set you back and what extras (i.e tryes etc) did you get with it.

I am toying with the idea of getting a track day bike

The 675 is a lovely bike to ride...its very torquey(similar to a 750) and has a steep head angle so likes to turn quickly... if the front goes light when on the power usually after 6-8k the front can get a wobble on hence why alot of them use a bulldog steering damper... also upgraded rear shocks are common as the bike is reknowned for not liking bumpy circuits..
looks like you've got the essential rearsets...but its missing crash protection!
you'll love 3 and 4th gears. leaves 600s for dead!

Wilo, I can imagine this has set him back in the region of 4-6k.
675 track bikes are still fetching good money.
a track bike can be had for £1k though...eg. old R6....I've been offered an ex superstock 929rry blade for £1750. and a gsxr1000 bsb spec k5 for 3000-3500...
    i mate has just managed a k5 gixxer750 for 2600!
theres plenty about...just not usually on ebay!

yep marks about right at his top end of the estimation

Thanks for the info mark :) very useful will watch for that wobble

yeah I know just putting crash protection on it at the mo engine covers etc haha got to figure out the gpr 4 dampner settings wise never used a manual dampner before the gixer having an electric one

bikes got 25mm ktech front forks wp rear shock one spare set of wheels arrow titanium race system an a few other bits an a spare set of bodywork new just so u know what i got for the money mate :) good look on finding a track bike

oh yeah and it had a full refresh by John Trigger not been used since

    Thanks,

    Tom

has it got any uprated engine gear? cams? ecu? modded 675's can push 130bhp+!!

one thing you'll notice is how skinny it is.those stomp grips will be well used. otherwise its alot of weight on the old wrists...

see how you get on with the original clipons..alot of owners upgrade them for adjustable woodcraft ones..

also the start button is the lap timer button once the bikes running.. clocks have a built in lap timer etc...

    Thanks mark,

yep was amazed to read about the starter being the lap timer what a brilliant way of saving weight, yep probs gonna get some woodcraft ones at the mo engines standard part from a manual cam chain tensioner. engines gonna come later its ran some really quick times as it is gonna stick the triumph race kit on the engine after Ive done a season maybe superstock I think haha so much to decide about
