To answer the question properly

Rock and Blues is one of the two "big" biker festivals held in the UK each summer (the other being the Bulldog Bash).

It's organised and run by the Outlaws MC.

It's basically a 4-day party run by bikers and aimed at bikers although they do let cars, vans and campers on site and its one of the few places you can camp with your vehicle no matter what it is (most rallies if they allow cars have them in a single carpark or offsite and you have to walk with your gear to the campsite)

There is a lot of live music (mostly older rock bands), a big custom show, trade stalls, rock disco in the beer tent, couple of fairground-type rides and stuff like that.

The site itself is in Derbyshire, nice location but very hilly and a total pain in the ass if it's been raining, however I notice tha they have moved it this year which is not a surprise after last year.

Expect to pay about £40-£50 for the weekend, it's less if you get tickets up front but if you decide to go last minute you can always pay on the gate.

Personally I prefer the Bulldog (cos you also get a RWYB drag strip and an unsigned bands stage and a dance tent and a full fairground and there's more to see and do) but the RnB is a good weekend if you like the bands that are on.

Im going to the Bulldog Bash again this year (7th to 10th August, in Stratford-Upon-Avon) like I have done for 20 years - only missed two of 'em since they started..... totally awesome! Ive been to the Rock n Blues lots of times but of the two the Bulldog is better, its officially the safest festival in Britian. The bands are cool and the drag racing and stunt shows are excellent too! As Yambabe said earlier they have a Run Wot Ya Brung which basically means that all you peeps who think yer bikes are real quick..... can show everyone - on the drag strip! The Bulldog is THE best rally to go to in the biker calender!
You can check out sum details on www.bulldog-bash.com although the site is a little confusing at the minute as it has 2007 and 2008 details on it, ie the tickets havent started to be sold yet.
Hope to see some of ya there :)
