Fantastic day out, weather was great and roads were very quiet.
Unfortunate start to the day, SaintsDude crashing just mins after leaving J&S. Not sure if the Fat Boys Breakfast had anything to do with the cause.....extra ballast and all that.
Anyway, went back to the scene earlier this eve and collected the rest of the bits. They are all stashed with the bike safe and sound in my garage. Also collected my petrol can, that I hid in the bushes.
As I recall, we were on our way to get petrol at the time.

Yep excellent day out thanks to all. Sorry to hear about Saintsdude, I carried on to the Rhug to meet GixxerD and just thought you'd gone another route to get cheap petrol or something. Though I did begin to think something was wrong when no-one turned up after half an hour. Waiting 1.5hrs at Rhug with a coffee and a cheeseburger in the hot sunshine was HELL though.

Glad you're in 1 piece Saintsdude - one word for you

    ARAF

Hope you get the bike fixed up mate

I picked up some of the bits just too - I put them in my rucksack as I was planning to go back home with saintsdude to arrange recovery of the bike. That plan got a bit lost during the petrol can diversion and the next thing I know he's on the train home :) So rather than carry a load of sharp metal and broken plastic on my back all day, I left it all at the garage where we filled up in Tarvin. I'll go and get the bits when we collect the bike from manxgraham's house

Just got back from yesterdays ride. thanks to all for a good day  I really enjoyed it, shame about the first bit but hopefuly Saintsdude will get sorted out, at least he didn't get hurt
As I told you all when we were at Betws-y-coed, pardon me for leaving the group, but I just wasn't ready to go home, plus I still wanted to scrub my new tyres some more.
I went over to Angelesy, had a ride around the Island then stopped at my mates who has a place there.
Had a good night, :drinks: talked some s**t :drinks: a chinese :drinks: and talked some more s**t :drunk:
Got up this morning went for a ride all over the place and then finally set off back, went over Denbigh moore, stopped at Morrisons in Denbigh for a bacon butty and a coffee £3, sorted :D
Wish i'd had my camara with me, some of views were breathtaking, things do look so different in the morning when the sun starts to rise over the mountains :shades: :)

Kev, I went out myself this aft for a 4hr balst into Wales. Rhug, Bala, Snowdon way (got lost) ended up over the moors to Denbigh and filled up at Morrisons. Small world - but I wouldn't want to paint it!!!
