Just an enquiry at this stage,

Currently building my own bobber from a yamaha Virago, it uses a drum rear brake, which whilst it's perfectly fine, i'd like to change to a disc at some point, how hard is it to do? If possible at all.

I'm well aware it's not just a case of switching the back wheel and brake system, as the Virago is shaft drive.

Shaft drive, if thats what you mean? Not the worlds best, but i could make it work if its been done before.

how the wheel is connected to the drive, will probably be a pain in the arse to do.

Does the 535 share the bevel box with another machine?

Not as i'm aware of, the 750 looks similar, but i'll do some research after work and get back to you on that.

Upon doing a bit or research, i've come to a similar conclusion, the Xj650 could be a contender. Haven't yet found a case of it being done, but it seems to run using the same shaft system but using a disc brake. Same size wheel as well! Good thinking batman, i'll look into this more over the next few weeks.
