Just had an email from the, the first weekend is 5/6th April with 2 others in July and September, for anyone who hasn't done a trackday you couldn't pick a better first one, loads of runoff if you need it.

i will do the April one Phil.
I want to take the RC if the forecast is dry and warm, be great to get that out there and rag it. and there is no where better for run off or grippy tarmac.

I've emailed and joined the Facebook grope just wanted to make sure I got a spot. Cycled round valley lots and always thought it would be epic to put a motorbike bike on it.

Does everyone travel daily? B&B or is camping available?

I just one day last year and rode there and back, there's no camping on site but there is nor far away, there are B&B's within a few miles.

Couldn't book the track Sue it's a working RAF base and probably only closed the odd weekend a year, it might be a good idea for a summer meeting though, especially the July or September ones when there's a better chance of good weather.

I'll find a local camp site if anyone wants to camp. Think I will - see if we can find one near a town for a couple of jars and a curry

The campsites on Anglesey are notoriously crap and expensive, Llanberis pass or Ogwen Valley (A5) both have basic climbers campsites whci would do the job and only half an hour away.

As Phil said, it's a working RAF base so no camping allowed.
The only thing they were hot on there which Phil will agree with was litter.
If you litter or anything blows out of your pocket, van, car, kids drop - then you are out,
you can speed, make noise, but drop litter and its day over.

If a bag, tissue or worse gets sucked into an engine - well you know the rest.

you should all come along, a relaxed day and fantastic chance to thrash the bikes for little money
