Well I decided to buy myself a HM Quickshiftero_O the Installation was very simple and straight forward, simply removed the tank and airbox, unplug the Ignition coils and plug in the sub loom supplied by HM.

Then fit you Quickshifter Sensor with Link Rod (sold separately) adjust to you own setting and away you go :):)

best on the market i think Mike ..real nice stuff....your tested it yet ? the noise around 6000 rpm when banging up a gear is ace

from first to second they are snatchy, but from second up to sixth .... superb

May be a noob-ish question but what are the benefit to these? I clutchless shift from 2nd up whenever I'm making progress and it feels pretty smooth and quick as it it's....Only a fraction of a second off the power each time.
Are we just talking that fraction of a second saved due to not having to blip off the power or am I missing something? Haha.

Looks a pretty sweet bit of kit though :)

It cost £430 for the unit, link rod and delivery. yes Dave I was out last night playing with it haha make the bike feel so much faster, its good fun I can't wait to get on Oulton park with it.
Rob its just one of those things you either want or you don't, its fun just pinning the throttle wide open and going through the gears POP POP POP

Your pretty much spot on , on the road 90 % of the time they are not needed! they are good in heavy traffic when your constantly pulling the clutch to change gear ......but out on a race track ???oh my fuking god !! Huge difference , esp when accelerating away and all the crowd hear the pop,pop pop !! You feel like a dog with two dicks !

Quickshifters can give that instant cut of power, which you'll never be able to replicate by twisting the throttle back, even really quickly.... If set up correctly they give a very clean shift... If you're ham fisted like me, then they are great, but no doubt a good rider could get a better, cleaner shift....
