which ever model you buy make sure the fuse holder is in place, what you wanting to run off the socket,i would fit it too a switched supply that way you don't run the risk of coming back to your bike and finding the battery flat because you forgot to unplug what ever was plugged into the socket

its dead easy to fit one of these ….as above connect the wires to the battery with an in line fuse. if you get the "car cigarette " end you can also push in a USB adapter to this .. handy for charging phones .ipods etc ….its a simple job

Yea it has a built inline fuse. 2 wires. Looks easy enough and going to have a go over weekend. Next. Clutch and brake lever. Are they easy to replace. Guess what. I am a novice when it comes to repairing my bike. But want to start doing things myself. I have a haynes manuel too

Easy job to do just be careful where you put it. Intend to put one in the little glove box on my new bike but it already has two.
One in the top box and another one for an optimate or heated clothing on the left hand fairing.
The glove box will be where my phone and other junk lives when riding so another socket in there will be handy.
