Powder Coating

    how much am i looking at do you think to have my swing arm and yokes powder coated, would also like fork legs done but would i have to strip the forks as don't fancy doing that as have only just re done the fork seals,

    Depends we're you are there is places in bootle that do it. And yer forks rite down the bare as they get shot blasted

    bootle or southport area, mum lives in crosby, i live in southport so either or is fine. bit of a bummer about the forks needing to be down to the bare as only just done them, might look at putting a newer front end on anyway.

    A1 powder coating in bootle than mate.

    I've also used A1 and had satisfactory results from then. They done a set of my wheels a couple of years ago for £50.

    Will be looking into powder coating as I want my wheels black instead of silver.

    Why not just buy a black set elliot, then sell the silvers. Would only be a few quid in it

    Or spray them..... Powder coat chips easier than paint IMO and at least if you spray them, it's easier to touch up stone chips etc.

    i was contemplating spraying, but powdercoat has a better look to it, i could do with wheels being done too as theyr mingin and the original paint has pitted so a nightmare to clean.

    Place called Hepworth coatings in Oldham is good and reasonable on price, used them a few times. They did my wheels when I built this..

    I want a flat Black look to them not a glossy one would that be possiable and still be protective?

    If you want them matt black elliot there is a different laquer to keep em with the matt finish
