Went for a little ride out up to wales yesterday, don't get down that way much and i managed to break my phone the night before so i was using a cheap binatone satnav, half an hour into the journey the sat nav went and died. That was the best thing that could have happened to me! Just decided to go with the flow and do some sight seeing, must have seen about half of wales by the end of the day, went to Chester, Conwy, Bala, Llandudno, Abergele and Colwyn bay, even found my way to Ponderosa for a scone with jam and cream. Covered 270 miles, Best day out in ages! Couple of choice pics from Chester and Pondy, will certainly be doing that again soon!
I was at pondy at 11.30ish.. Quite a few bikes there and then went Bala and Betws-e-coed.. Weather was brilliant
Got there about 3ish myself, only 4 or so bikes around, its crazy quiet up there, i've never heard silence like it anywhere before! Took the goat track back onto the main road, went through Betws-y-coed to get to Abergele, never knew about the A548 before now, stumbled on so many places by accident
I'll have you know the scones are lush! And the totty behind the till wasnt too bad either.....it was all about the views today
ponderosa is shit and should be wiped off the face of the earth!!!!!! For god sake this man needs a hug and his meds STAT!
nah,the food is shite to say the least and as for views it's either hills, sheep or piss reeking old people. it's only ever hot there three days a year and i bet it was windy when you were up there i hope by that you aren't going to try and slip me some roofies and give me one of your 'special man love hugs'
Aside from a guy throwing a lamb in his landrover (i assume he was picking her up to go on a date) it was all quiet, as for views i live in manchester so a single blade of grass to me is a field! Haha
