I'm selling these for £100 a set I have 2 mint sets in my garage and fitted to my RC8 I managed 2000 miles from a rear inc a track day at Anglesey.

These are the ultimate tyre for road and track, fitted to all the best bikes as standard there's a reason why !

What is the usual deal with putting 180 tires on a 160 wheel? No-go or possible on some bikes? Chain and swingarm have clearance but not sure if there are other factors?

By putting a wider rear tyre on your bike you can actually decrease the contact patch area. When you put a wider tyre on a rim that is designed for a smaller one you have to pinch the sidewalls together to get it on the rim. When you do that it pushes the middle of the tires tread outward which gives the tire a bit of a V shape so that only the middle of the V touches the ground. If your rim was designed to fit a wider tyre you would be alright. I would suggest calling the tyre manufacturer and asking what size rim a 180 / 60 would fit on I believe that it is a 6 to 6.5 inch rim. If your bike has the size rim that they recommend then you should be fine. If you have a hugger fitted too, it would be close , poss touching that Hope that helps.

I fitted a 180 to my fazer (160 normally) was fine but tipped in very quick and was very unstable above 120
