While sitting in a long boring meeting in work today, the room overlooked a large fast food chain outlet, for legal reasons let's call it Donalds. To distract myself from the mindless drivel that was going on in the meeting, I spent my time more productively, watching the people coming and going, the hassled under medicated mothers screaming at their out of control kids on the way in and again on the way out.
Anyway what puzzled me was does eating regularly in "Donalds" make you stupid? Or alternatively is it just stupid people who eat regularly in "Donalds"?
Personally I think it's the latter but I think there's more research needed.

That's allowed, for the sake of this we'll say regularly is => twice per week.

I would have to say that in my opinion its a self propagating mechanism, you have a moment of dumbness and venture in to sample the clowns wares and then the process of ever increasing levels of stupidity and antisocialism begins. All it takes is 1 99p saver menu cheese burger and the cycle begins........:devilish::devilish:eek:_Oo_O

Although their fresh ground coffee is rather good.. ;););)

I wonder if in Supersize Me if he'd have done IQ tests throughout the film what the results would have been, at least we'd have a basic premise to test assumptions on.

well Phillipe ..IN southport on the wild windy coastal road they have spent a few millions building yet another fast food outlet , lets call it KCF for arguments sake ….and today I passed it with waves bashing up the sea wall in around 50 /60 mph winds..this place is a drive through in the most stormiest part of Southport in the Winter… and ….IT WAS PACKED! they were queuing outside the car park to get to the pay window….now I'm with you on fast food ..does it make us idiotic? or does the stupidness inside us make us eat it? the food on sale was chicken ? now isn't that suppose to be one of the healthiest foods around ..so why do they wrap it in some horrible tasting fat wrap ? try to market it American style to the English ? and FFS why do we eat the stuff? …id rather eat popcorn dipped in cheese…OH wait they sell that too !!!:ban:

Yeah it's amazing, a place that specialises in chicken that can't cook chicken, it takes an uncommon mind to think up something like popcorn in cheese, they might have people having bets if any idiot is stupid enough to actually eat the things they think up.

Funny enough I occasionally work from an office right by there, next time I'm there I'll try to study the clientele and we'll have a mass debate. See what I did there.

I love our works surrounding neighbours... Especially "backy bob" who tries to sell fake/imported tobacco to the smokers, the crack heads selling stolen stuff from the strand and the 3pm homeless boxing behind ranchers haha. Very cultured entertainment

Yeah it's fantastic, I emailed someone who went down to Reading and said between getting off the bus and getting into workat about 8.30 I saw a pool of blood, a tramp who was the double of Efren Reyes (the world's greatest pool player) someone who looked about 70 staggering down the road them vomiting at a bus stop which a pigeon landed beside and started to eat. Walking through the Strand at lunch time is very much like going on Safari.
The most he sees is a few ducks in the park he walks through on the way to work and apparently Reading doesn't smell of anything.

It may explain allot, however having had 2 burgers from this "Dondalds" I say I buy simply because it is cheap (for a reason) and I like it.

You've spelt a few things wrong in that, I'm guessing you don't understand what's going on here so I'd be much obliged if you could shuffle along to another more low brow thread.
