No worries mate, have the New Zealand plans gone now. Bloody women they mess everything up don't they. Need to crack the 1min 55sec mark at Oulton this year and then I will be happy. It would be good if you could get on the 12th pal. Martin, do you fancy it pal?
im workin on it mate should be ok though they said i can swap my day off so if the weathers good i should be there. yeah the travelling plans are on the back burner for a bit now, your right they do mess things up a bit, i knew i should have stayed in that night lol! just av to see how long this one lasts! Martin hows things? im thinkin of keeping the srad for another year now, ive gone and spent all my money on somewhere to live instead, being sensible is shite! Saying that there is a rather nice repsol Blade in the local bike shop, finance anyone?.........

After a relaxing break with the missus and little lad, I was really ready for a good day at Oulton. I arrived nice and early as normal and ended up getting into garage 16. Followed shortly by Dayo, Chris (Crispybanksy) and his mate, also meet Corky, Joe and another (sorry mate, sh*t with names). The first couple of sessions were taken very steady by myself, not really sure why as the weather was brilliant and the track was dry. For some reason I just could not get to grips with the bike. Still managed to have a good battle with Chris during my off period, which was very good. Chris was riding well and has overcome his issues with overtaking which was good to see. There was a moment when I thought I had cleanly passed another, but this was not the case as I ended up touching his elbow with mine (if you are on here mate I apologise, I did try and find you today). The third session was a lot better than the previous two and I seemed to get my mojo back, with a great big grin on my face I came back into the garage. The lad I was following was in our garage and his friend timed him at 1min 56sec. His friend said at that point we were both circulating together with no more than two bikes lengths between us. So if he did a 1min 55sec and I did a 1min 57 sec I am really pleased with that especially as it was the second dry day of this year. Just need to work on my consistency as I did a few more laps at 2min 7sec etc. Anyway besides times the day was spent with a great set of lads as normal and everyone stayed sunny side up. I would also like to comment on yet another great day hosted by No Limits, plus the fact that I think I only saw 2 red flags all day (could be wrong, but there was not alot). Dayo ran in the fast group and did not look out of place. If anyone come across a few bolts, a gear lever and a left knee slider on the track. I do apologise they are mine, can you kindly post them back Lol. Oh yeah and the bike ran superb today a special thanks to Pete Alton at OTC Racing. The problem has GONE.
GEAR LEVER FELL OFF LOL??? MUST BE A KWAK THING MATE not bad times at all them bud, the pros are not far ahead at 1.40's on the 600s
Only did sub 2mins once, and that is if you believe the guy who timed us. I was running 2min 6sec average TBH. Went around with Gixxer-Dave and got a few pointers which seemed to help a bit. Still know that I can get faster as I know where I am weak. Never mind it's only a trackday I suppose, when you on one pal. The gear lever didnt come off it was the adjustable foot peg at the end.
